SUMMARY:AAYSP 8th Annual Scholarship Gala
DESCRIPTION:AAYSP 8th Annual Scholarship Gala \nIn this year’s scholarship gala\, we will be giving out multiple $500 scholarships to qualified high school and undergraduate students. We also will be giving awards to teachers\, community members\, professionals\, and administrators for their hard work in this community. \nOur Keynote speaker will be Dr. Miriam Deborah Ezzani\, a clinical associate professor in the department of Teacher Education and Administration at the University of North Texas. With academic and professional roots in urban education\, her area of scholarship is in educational justice within the context of organizational leadership\, professional learning\, and district and school reform. Ezzani’s research on organizational leadership and culturally proficient leadership is concerned with how leaders in districts and schools fulfill their ethical promise to provide equitable opportunities for students who have long been underserved. \nIf you have any questions\, please email treasurermi@aaysp.org
