Mohamed Algarmi received his Bachelor's degree in English Education from San Francisco State University in 2012. He then went on to pursue his Teaching Credential also from SFSU in 2015. Mohamed furthered his educational endeavors by completing his Master’s of Arts in English Literature from Cal State East Bay. Currently he is working on his Master of Fine Arts degree at SFSU and is expected to complete the program in Spring 2021. Mohamed has over ten years of experience in the field of education. He currently teaches English at Centerville Junior High School, he has also taught English at McClymonds High School, and has tutored students at the secondary and college level. Mr. Algarmi was also a member of the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) while he taught at McClymonds. ILT focused on professional development, observational rounds, and data analysis for staff members and students. Throughout his teaching career he has received professional training from GLAD, GATE, AP, AVID, and CATE.
