“Dr. Adeeb Mozip is Vice President of AAYSP National Board. Dr. Mozip serves as the executive director of business operations for the Office of Enrollment Management. In this role, Dr. Mozip leads operations including budget management, finance, human resources, and facilities by developing and implementing business processes, operational plans, and procedures. Dr. Mozip brings expertise in fiscal strategy and budgeting, as well as a passion for education equity and accessibility, to his work. He is skilled at directing all aspects of business operations and is a big-picture change leader who believes in a culture of collaboration, process improvement, and professional development.
Prior to his role, Dr. Mozip served as the director of business affairs at Wayne State University Law School and was responsible for supporting operations in areas of budget and finance, scholarships, human resources, information technology, administrative support and facilities. During his 14-year career at Wayne State, Dr. Mozip held several roles focused on business operations, budgeting & financial management, and strategic planning. He also served as the compliance liaison officer for the Higher Learning Commission Accreditation Committee and led the filing during the university’s accreditation process. Before joining Wayne State, he was an accountant with the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President for Research. Dr. Mozip is a part-time faculty member at Wayne State University College of Education teaching a graduate course on contemporary issues in higher education.
Dr. Mozip holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership and policy and a master’s degree in business administration both from Wayne State University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is an active member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers and the University Council for Educational Administration. He also volunteers for Dearborn Public Schools and serves on committees supporting community partnerships for education.”
