I’m currently a 4th-year medical student at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Previous roles include being an educator for a local organization, medical scribe, and research assistant at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. I have been involved in many non-profit organizations and invested many years in the local community. Also, I’m part of the national board for AAYSP.

AAYSP is a national organization that seeks to identify and mitigate the socio-cultural barriers preventing Yemeni Americans from attaining the highest forms of academic achievement and professional success, while working to promote the importance of higher education and professional development amongst Yemeni students and professionals.
