I grew up in metro-Detroit, lived in Yemen for a little, and am currently based in Los Angeles. As an undergraduate student, I trained in intergroup dialogue through the University of Michigan’s Program on Intergroup Relations, where I created curriculum and facilitated workshops to address various conflicts. After graduating, I worked in higher education for another two years as a Program Specialist with the Inclusive Campus Corps at U-M, where I trained student employees on how to create more inclusive working environments. As a law student, I am involved in mediation and am pursuing litigation and employment law.
