This scholarship was established in memory of Ibrahem Nasser, an active member of the Dearborn community. He dedicated his life to supporting youth through his work at the Michigan Yemen Sports Association (MYSA). Ibrahem created and supported many recreational, social, and educational programs for children and youth at all ages. Through his passion for soccer, he collaborated with local businesses and donors to offer youth valuable opportunities, including providing them with free uniforms, shoes, and covering the costs of travel to tournaments. His invaluable contributions led hundreds of players to succeed not only in developing their soccer skills but also in nurturing qualities such as teamwork, sportsmanship, community involvement, and a strong work ethic. Ibrahem took immense pride in positively impacting thousands of players over the years, and this scholarship stands as a heartfelt tribute to honor and preserve his remarkable contributions.
