My name is Hesham Aldhaibani, I graduated from Fordson High School back in 2019. I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering at Wayne State Univeristy. My goal in life is to be able to give back to my community and help the less fortunate people around me.

Why did you join AAYSP?

One of the main reasons I joined the AAYSP is simply because I believed in their mission. Being able to support the upcoming generation, not just in the form of scholarships, but also by directing them and guiding them.

Please define how you interpret: Successful Yemeni Americans:

In my opinion what defines a Successful Yemeni American is their ability to display a positive image of the background they came from and being able to support their peers who did not have the same opportunities.
