I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. As someone with a passion for science and healthcare, I have set my sights on attending medical school in the near future. In addition to my academic pursuits, I also enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. Whether it’s tutoring peers or volunteering at local schools, I find great fulfillment in helping others learn and grow.
Why did you join AAYSP?
Joining AAYSP provides me with the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for empowering Yemeni students and professionals. Through AAYSP’s initiatives and programs, such as community-based initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and professional development programs, I can gain access to new opportunities and develop important skills. As a member, I can contribute to a community that is working towards empowering Yemeni Americans and eliminating barriers to success. Ultimately, joining AAYSP is a way for me to make a positive impact in the Yemeni community and help others reach their full potential.

Successful Yemeni Americans are those who not only achieve their academic and professional goals but strive make a positive impact in their community, live a fulfilling life in accordance with their values and goals, and promote the greater good. They serve as role models for others and inspire the next generation of Yemeni Americans, whether through their career accomplishments, philanthropic endeavors, or community involvement. They strive to make a lasting impact and leave a legacy of excellence for others for follow!
